CUET UG 2026: University-Wise Portals Active as DU Launches Phase II; AUD Introduces AI and Museology Streams

NEW DELHI — With the National Testing Agency (NTA) having declared the CUET UG 2026 results, the focus has completely shifted to university-specific counseling ecosystems. Major universities have officially opened their dedicated admission portals, moving from basic data collection to active preference locking and introducing new curriculum pathways for the 2026–27 academic session.

Delhi University (DU) Commences Critical Phase II Admissions

The University of Delhi has officially initiated Phase II of its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2026. This phase is mandatory for all aspirants looking to secure one of the approximately 70,000 seats across DU's 91 affiliated colleges.

  • Timeline: The window for Phase II preference filling opened on July 3 and is scheduled to close at 11:59 PM on July 11, 2026.

  • The Subject Mapping Mandate: Candidates must log in to ugadmission.uod.ac.in to map their Class XII board subjects directly with the specific domain papers they attempted in CUET UG 2026. DU authorities have reiterated that candidates will only receive merit eligibility for subjects they passed in their physical board exams.

  • Simulated Ranks & Allocation: DU will publish simulated ranks at 5:00 PM on July 12, providing a predictive look at seat probabilities. Students will have a brief window until July 13 to alter their choices before the first official CSAS allocation list drops at 5:00 PM on July 16.

Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) Opens Registrations with New Curriculum Upgrades

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, a state-run institution known for its humanities and social sciences focus, has activated its centralized Samarth portal infrastructure for 23 undergraduate offerings spanning 1,194 seats.

  • Deadlines & Fee Matrix: Registration remains open at audcuet.samarth.edu.in from now until July 15, 2026. The application fee is structured at ₹1,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD applicants.

  • New Tech & Heritage Streams: For the 2026 session, AUD is introducing a BA in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management alongside a new BA in Visual Arts. Additionally, the university has entirely revamped its mathematics stream, replacing the conventional BA (Honours) Math with a BSc in Mathematics featuring a specialized minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

  • System Integration: Because the portal uses the Samarth e-Governance database, entering a valid CUET application number automatically syncs a candidate's scorecard data, name, and identity records directly from the NTA server.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Runs Concurrent Form Alignments

Simultaneously, Banaras Hindu University continues to accept registrations on its centralized portal (admission.bhu.ac.in). Applicants seeking entry into BHU’s highly competitive B.A. and B.Sc. Honours tracks are required to configure their program options alongside initial data verification, ensuring that their chosen subject maps accurately to BHU’s custom domain prerequisites before final fee submittal.

Educational experts advise candidates to execute registrations across these independent portals well ahead of the mid-July deadlines to protect against expected server congestion.
