FMGE 2025 City Intimation Slip Released; Exam on January 17

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the city intimation slip for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2025. Registered candidates can access the city details through the email or SMS sent by NBEMS.
The FMGE 2025 admit card will be made available online on January 14, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 17, 2026.
NBEMS has also extended the deadline for submission of deficient documents required for determining candidate eligibility. As per the official notification, candidates can submit the pending documents until January 7, 2026, up to 11:55 PM.
Examination Scheme
FMGE 2025 will consist of a single paper with 300 multiple-choice questions, conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. Each question will have four answer options, out of which candidates must select the most appropriate one.
To qualify the examination, candidates must score a minimum of 150 marks out of 300.
The paper will be conducted in two parts on the same day:

Each part will contain 150 questions

Duration of each part will be 150 minutes

A scheduled break will be provided between the two parts
Syllabus and Exam Blueprint
The syllabus for FMGE 2025 will be based on the Competency-Based Undergraduate Curriculum prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the MBBS course. The detailed syllabus is available on the official NMC website.
