🔔 Key Points from the NTA’s Clarification

1. Calculators Not Allowed:

   • The NTA has prohibited the use of calculators (both physical and on-screen) in JEE Main 2026.

   • The earlier mention of an on-screen standard calculator in the information bulletin was a typographical error.

2. Official Correction:

   • NTA issued a public notice acknowledging the mistake and has uploaded an updated information bulletin on the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

   • Candidates are advised to re-download the corrected bulletin.

3. Exam Schedule:

   • Session 1: January 2026

   • Session 2: April 2026

4. Application Status:

   • The online application form for Session 1 was made live on October 31, 2025.

5. Increased Exam Cities:

   • The number of JEE Main 2026 exam cities has been increased from 284 to 323, improving accessibility for candidates.
