DU UG Admissions 2026: CSAS Phase 1 Registration Portal Now Open – Apply Here

The University of Delhi (DU) has officially opened its Common Seat Allocation System for Undergraduates (CSAS-UG 2026) portal for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates who appeared for the CUET UG 2026 exam can now register online to secure a seat across Delhi University’s vast network of premium colleges.

With over 71,000 seats up for grabs across 73 undergraduate programs and more than 100 B.A. program combinations in 69 affiliated colleges, the race for admission has officially begun. The university has also announced that the new academic session is scheduled to commence on July 21, 2026.

Key Highlights of DU Admissions 2026

  • Official Registration Portal: ugadmission.uod.ac.in

  • Admission Basis: Solely on CUET UG 2026 scores combined with strict Class 12 subject mapping.

  • New Automation Feature: For the first time, DU has integrated API Setu (via the Government of India). Once you input your CUET Application Number, your name, date of birth, photograph, and signature will be securely auto-fetched and locked, minimizing manual data-entry mistakes.

DU CSAS 2026 Fee Structure

Applicants must pay a one-time, non-refundable registration fee during Phase 1 to activate their dashboard for the subsequent rounds.

Candidate CategoryCSAS 2026 Application Fee (Non-Refundable)
UR / OBC-NCL / EWS₹250
SC / ST / PwBD₹100
Additional Quotas (ECA / Sports)₹100 extra per quota
Specific Programs (BFA / Music / B.Sc PE)₹400 extra

The Three Phases of the DU Admission Process

The entire admission and counseling cycle will be administered digitally in three sequential stages:

1.Phase 1: Registration & Profile Completion:Live Now.

Log in to the portal using your CUET UG 2026 application number and date of birth. Verify your auto-filled personal data, fill in your academic scores (Class 10 and 12), upload your certificates, and pay the registration fee.

2.Phase 2: Subject Mapping & Preference Selection:Opening Shortly.

Map the subjects you passed in your Class 12 boards with the papers you attempted in CUET 2026. You will then see an "Available Preferences" dashboard to select and rank your preferred "Course + College" combinations.

3.Phase 3: Seat Allocation & Admission Confirmation:July 2026.

DU will release multiple allocation lists based on merit, categories, and your preference order. Once a seat is allocated, you must click "Accept", clear online document verification by the respective college, and pay the admission fee.

Crucial Rule on Subject Mapping: DU has reiterated that it will only count the language and domain-specific CUET papers that directly match the subjects you studied and passed in Class 12. Make sure you select combinations carefully during Phase 2.

What about students waiting for Class 12 Re-evaluation?

University officials have reassured applicants that those undergoing the CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation or marks verification process will face no disadvantages. While admissions are based entirely on CUET scores, students will be allowed to upload their updated board documents up to September 30, 2026, ensuring full data alignment without hindering their current registration.

Next Steps for Aspirants

Candidates are strongly advised to download the official Undergraduate Bulletin of Information (BoI-2026) from the DU admission portal, arrange their category certificates (EWS/OBC-NCL certificates must be issued within the current valid financial window), and keep their login credentials safe.
