JEE Advanced 2026 Results Out; JoSAA Registration Live

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially opened the registration and choice-filling portal for 2026 admissions across 138 premium technical institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 56 GFTIs.

This follows the formal declaration of the JEE Advanced 2026 results by IIT Roorkee, which saw 56,880 candidates qualify out of nearly 1.8 lakh test-takers.

Key Result Highlights

  • National Topper: Shubham Kumar (IIT Delhi Zone) secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 with a staggering score of 330 out of 360 marks.

  • Top Female Candidate: Arohi Deshpande (IIT Delhi Zone) topped the female category with an impressive CRL Rank of 77 (280/360 marks).

  • Historic Representation: For the first time, a historic wave of over 10,000 female candidates have cleared the qualifying cutoff line for IIT admissions, significantly strengthening gender diversity metrics across technical colleges.

Critical JoSAA 2026 Registration Timeline

The choice-filling process is completely online. Candidates must lock their institutional preferences carefully, as the system will strictly freeze options after the closing deadline.
