CBSE Class 12 Results 2026 Declared: Direct Links, Pass Percentage, and How to Check

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 12 Board Results for 2026 today, May 13. Following months of anticipation, scorecards are now live and accessible for students across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

Quick Access: Where to Check Your Score

To manage the heavy web traffic, CBSE has made results available across several platforms:

  • Official Portals:

  • Digital Apps:

    • DigiLocker: Access your official, digitally-signed marksheet and migration certificates.

    • UMANG App: Search for "CBSE" under the services tab to view results on your mobile device.

  • Offline Mode (IVRS):

    • Students in Delhi can call 011-24300699.

    • Regional students can use the specific IVRS numbers provided by their respective school zones.

How to Check Your Result Online

Ensure you have your Admit Card ready before logging in. You will need to enter the following details:

  1. Roll Number

  2. School Number

  3. Admit Card ID

Steps:

  • Visit any of the official websites listed above.

  • Click on the link for "Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2026."

  • Enter your credentials and click "Submit."

  • Download and take a printout of your scorecard for temporary use until original marksheets are issued.

2026 Result Highlights & Statistics

This year marks a transition toward more digitized evaluation processes. Here is a breakdown of the performance:

  • Overall Pass Percentage: 85.20%. (A moderate decrease from the 88.39% seen in 2025).

  • The Gender Gap: Girls have continued their trend of excellence, achieving a pass percentage of 88.86%, outpacing boys.

  • International Performance: Schools outside India registered a robust 95.01% pass rate.

  • Evaluation Innovation: The Board successfully scaled On-Screen Marking (OSM) this year, a digital evaluation system designed to eliminate calculation errors and expedite results.

What’s Next?

  • Merit Certificates: While CBSE continues its policy of not releasing a toppers list to reduce academic pressure, merit certificates will be awarded to the top 0.1% of students in each subject.

  • Verification & Re-evaluation: For students unsatisfied with their scores, the schedule for marks verification and re-evaluation will be announced on the CBSE website within the next few days.

  • Supplementary Exams: Information regarding the "Compartment" (now referred to as Supplementary) exams will be shared shortly for students who need to improve their performance in specific subjects.

Congratulations to all the students for completing their higher secondary education!
