CUET PG 2026: Third Phase Exams Underway; Hall Tickets for Final Phase Expected by March 18

NEW DELHI, March 16, 2026 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) today commenced the third phase of the Common University Entrance Test - Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. Examinations for this window are scheduled to take place from March 16 to March 19 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode across 292 cities in India and abroad.

Admit cards for this current cycle—which includes major papers like B.Ed. Languages, LL.M., and Museology—have already been released on the official portal, exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG.


Exam Analysis: Day 9

Early reports from Shift 1 (9:00 AM – 10:30 AM) today suggest a moderate difficulty level.

  • Focus Areas: Students appearing for language and humanities papers noted a high concentration of conceptual questions based on the revised NCERT-aligned syllabus.

  • Attendance: Initial estimates show over 88% attendance, consistent with the previous phases.

  • Security: NTA has deployed AI-based surveillance and Aadhaar-linked biometric verification at all centers to curb malpractices.


Next Phase: What to Expect

For candidates scheduled to appear in the final leg of the examination (March 24, 25, and 27), here is the latest update:

  • City Intimation: Advance city slips for all remaining papers were released on March 12. If you haven't checked your allotted city, do so immediately to finalize travel plans.

  • Admit Cards: The hall tickets for the final phase are expected to be released between March 17 and March 18, 2026.

  • Subject Highlights: The final phase will include high-volume papers such as Biochemistry, Mathematics, and M.Ed.
