NTA Issues Key Updates on JEE Main, CUET UG and NEET UG 2026
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released important updates regarding three major national-level entrance examinations—JEE Main 2026, CUET UG 2026 and NEET UG 2026—providing clarity on schedules, registrations and next steps for lakhs of aspirants across the country.
JEE Main 2026:
NTA has released the provisional answer key and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session-1. Candidates have been given an opportunity to raise objections within the prescribed timeline through the official website. Meanwhile, registration for JEE Main 2026 Session-2 (April attempt) is currently open. The April session examinations are scheduled to be held in early April 2026, giving students a second chance to improve their scores.
CUET UG 2026:
For admissions to central and participating universities, NTA has extended the CUET UG 2026 application deadline. The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode during May 2026.
