CBSE Board Exams 2026: Last-Minute Checklist for Tomorrow's Exam

Before Leaving Home (Tonight/Early Morning):

  • Admit Card: Double-check that you have your official CBSE Admit Card (Hall Ticket). This is non-negotiable.
  • School ID Card: Your school identity card is also often required. Keep it with your Admit Card.
  • Stationery Kit:
    • Pens: At least two blue/royal blue ballpoint or gel pens (as per CBSE guidelines, usually blue or black ink is allowed, but blue is standard).
    • Pencils: Well-sharpened pencils (HB or 2B for diagrams/rough work).
    • Eraser & Sharpener: Essential.
    • Ruler: A transparent ruler.
    • (For Maths/Science) Geometry Box: If required for specific subjects (e.g., compass, protractor).
  • Transparent Pouch/Bag: Carry all your stationery in a transparent pouch to avoid any issues.
  • Water Bottle: A transparent water bottle. Stay hydrated!
  • Watch: A simple analog wristwatch (digital/smartwatches are NOT allowed).
  • Proper Uniform: Ensure you are in your complete, neat school uniform (if required by your school/center).
  • Snacks/Light Meal: Have a good, light meal before leaving. Avoid heavy or oily food.
  • Sleep: Get a good night's sleep tonight. It's crucial for focus.
  • Set Alarms: Multiple alarms to wake up on time.

Important Reminders for Tomorrow:

  • Reach Early: Aim to reach your examination center by 9:15 AM - 9:30 AM at the latest. Gates close at 10:00 AM sharp, and no student will be allowed entry after that.
  • Stay Calm: Take deep breaths. You've prepared for this. Trust your knowledge.
  • Read Instructions Carefully: Once you get the question paper, use the initial 15 minutes (10:15 AM - 10:30 AM) to read through all instructions and questions thoroughly.
  • No Prohibited Items: Absolutely no mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, calculators (unless specifically allowed for a subject), or study material inside the exam hall.

Good luck to all the students! You've got this!
