CBSE Board Exams 2026: Admit Card Status for Regular and Private Candidates
New Delhi: With the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board exams set to commence on February 17, 2026, the wait for hall tickets is almost over. The board has issued important updates regarding the release of admit cards for both regular and private candidates.
For Regular Candidates: Contact Your Schools
Students appearing for the board exams as regular candidates will receive their admit cards directly from their respective schools.
Status: Expected to be distributed shortly.
Action Required: School heads are currently in the process of downloading the admit cards using their school login credentials. Students are advised to stay in touch with their school administration for the collection schedule.
Note: Ensure that the admit card is signed by the school principal to be considered valid.
For Private Candidates: Download Now
The CBSE has already activated the admit card link for private candidates on the official portal.
Status: Released.
Where to Download: Private candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website cbse.gov.in.
Login Details: You will need your Application Number, Previous Roll Number and Year, or Candidate Name to access the document.
Exam Schedule Reminder
