NLU Delhi Counselling Schedule 2026–27 Released for BA LLB and LLM

New Delhi:
The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released the online counselling schedule for admission to the BA LLB and LLM programmes for the academic year 2026–27. The counselling process will be conducted exclusively in online mode for candidates who have qualified the AILET examination.

BA LLB: 120 seats
LLM: 81 seats

Counselling Registration Fee

The counselling registration fee will be adjusted against the total programme fee.

1. Counselling Invitation & Registration

December 19, 2025 (6:00 PM):
Category-wise counselling invitations released (approximately three times the number of seats).
December 19, 2025 (6:00 PM) – December 27, 2025 (11:00 AM):
Online counselling registration and payment of registration fee.

2. Merit Lists & Admission Confirmation

First Merit List

January 8, 2026 (6:00 PM): Declaration of First Provisional List
January 8 – January 14, 2026 (11:00 AM):
Payment of Provisional Admission Confirmation Fee – ₹50,000

Second Merit List

January 21, 2026 (6:00 PM): Declaration of Second Provisional List
January 21 – January 27, 2026 (11:00 AM):
Payment of ₹50,000 confirmation fee

Third Merit List

February 4, 2026 (6:00 PM): Declaration of Third Provisional List
February 4 – February 10, 2026 (11:00 AM):
Payment of ₹50,000 confirmation fee

Fourth Merit List

May 5, 2026 (6:00 PM): Declaration of Fourth Provisional List
