Bihar has raised its PG medical training capacity to 204 seats across 22 districts, adding Madhepura and approving 12 new DNB seats. Darbhanga, Siwan, Saran and Madhepura institutions received allocations in Psychiatry, OBG, General Medicine and Anaesthesia. With more than 3,000 MBBS seats, the state awaits NBEMS approval for further DNB expansion.
