Full Form: Foreign Medical Graduate Examination

Purpose: A licensure test required for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have earned their primary medical qualification abroad and wish to practice medicine in India.

Requirement: Candidates must pass FMGE to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council.
