The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12th results today, May 13, 2025.
The announcement brings relief to over 1.7 million registered students nationwide.
Exams for the 12th grade were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025.
Students can access their results on the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
The results are also available on the DigiLocker platform and the UMANG mobile application.
This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 stands at 88.39%.
Girls have once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 91.64% compared to 85.70%.
Transgender candidates achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in the Class 12 exams.
Vijayawada region recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.60% among all regions.
Trivandrum and Chennai secured the second and third positions in region-wise performance.
CBSE will not release a merit list of top-scoring students to avoid unhealthy competition.
However, the board has shared detailed statistics on overall performance and gender-wise results.
Over 1.15 lakh students have scored above 90% in the Class 12 examinations.
More than 24,000 students have achieved scores of 95% and above.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) emerged as the top-performing institutions with a 99.29% pass rate.
Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) also showcased excellent results with a pass percentage of 99.05%.
Students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for verification and re-evaluation.
The application window for verification of marks is expected to open soon.
CBSE has revised the post-result verification process for enhanced transparency.
The declaration of the Class 12 results marks a significant milestone for the students.
