Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas, from the CPI(M) party, raised concerns over the NEET and UGC-NET exams, alleging saffronisation of education under the BJP-led government. He urged Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to discontinue the centralised NEET and limit its scope to central medical institutions like AIIMS, PGIMER, and JIPMER.
